Job summary

SHINS is seeking an IT Support Executive to provide frontline IT support for our retail outlets and head office. You will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, manage backups, and maintain the computer network and related devices across multiple locations.

Applicants should have a diploma/degree in CS/IT and at least 2 years in a similar role, preferably in retail. Willingness to travel is required as part of the job scope.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
• At least 2 years experience in a similar position, preferably in retail.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT support to retail outlets and head office.
• Maintain and troubleshoot problems with computer systems - hardware & software, server, e-mail, network, CCTV, PABX, visual & audio system and peripheral equipment; provide solutions and carry out repairs where required.
• Ensure backups are performed daily.
• Perform IT asset management - procurement, asset tagging, keep track of hardware and software inventory, movement and disposal.
• Maintain and file all IT installation media and documents.
• Ensure proper day-to-day operation of computers; responsible for ensuring smooth operation of the corporate computers & computer network.

Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.

At least 2 years experience in similar position, preferably in retail industry.

Able to work under pressure, multi-tasking and good communication skills.
