Job summary

Lavu Tech Solutions Sdn Bhd is seeking an Application Technical Support professional to handle Java and Oracle Database related activities. The role involves platform knowledge across Windows, UNIX/Linux (Solaris) and WebSphere deployments, with a focus on Unit Trust origination and workflow systems.

You will provide Level 2/3 production support, investigate incidents, and work with cross-border teams. Strong scripting skills on Windows and Unix, experience in Banking IT environment, and

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of working experience in the same capacity.

• Knowledge in Banking IT environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide system support and manage enhancements for Unit Trust applications.
• Support Unit Trust domain systems and workflows.
• Perform Level 2 and 3 production support and problem investigations (root cause analysis, solution definition).
• Collaborate with users to understand needs and issues; manage system risks and improvements.
• Liaise with vendor on scope of work and fixes.

Job description

Application Technical Support on Java and Oracle Database.

Platform Knowledge on windows, UNIX/Linux (Solaris) & WebSphere web deployments.

Strong application knowledge Unit Trust origination and workflow systems.

Hands-on experience on Windows and Unix scripting, MS-DOS working experience and support.

Knowledge in Banking IT environment will be a plus.

24 x 7 on call support.

Minimum 3 years of working experience in the same capacity.

Pleasant personality with good communication and interpersonal skills.

Proactive and team player.

Willing to work at Cyberjaya/ KL

Able to work with cross border colleagues.

Familiar with tools/practises such as Jira, Confluence, and Agile/Scrum Methodology

Roles/Responsibilities

• To provide system support and manage enhancement for Unit Trust application.
• Systems specializing in the Unit Trust Domain.
• Perform Level 2 and 3 of production support.
• To perform problem investigation – problem identification, root cause analysis, solution definition and implementation.
• To work closely with users to understand their needs & issues.
• To manage system risks and conjure improvements to mitigate and manage risks
• Liaise with vendor on the Scope of Work, enhancements progress and fix implementations.
