Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide hands-on IT support, asset management, and end-user computing across Malaysia and Thailand. You will manage the full IT asset lifecycle, onboarding new joiners, configure Windows 10/11, Office 365, SharePoint, AD, and ensure antivirus and security standards.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware and software, maintaining network connectivity, coordinating purchases, and enforcing company policies.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; or minimum 5 years of relevant experience; or current IT certifications (e.g., A+, Network+, MCP).
• Proven experience with ticket management systems and IT asset management or inventory control.
• Hands-on desktop support skills and basic systems troubleshooting.
• Familiar with Windows Server Administration, Active Directory, and Windows 10/11 deployment.
• Experience procuring IT hardware and managing vendor relationships.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office 2016 / Office 365, SharePoint, OneDrive, data migrations, and MDM applications.
• Basic knowledge of LAN/WAN, VoIP, telephone systems, mobile operating systems, and anti-malware solutions.
• Experience with office security systems such as access control, CCTV, alarm systems, and network infrastructure preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and inventory accuracy.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills; able to work independently and across all organizational levels.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on IT support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues across multiple sites.
• Log cases in the ticket system and provide timely status updates through resolution.
• Deploy and support Windows 10/11, Office 365, SharePoint, OneDrive, MDM, and two-factor authentication.
• Perform basic Windows Server Admin and Active Directory tasks; manage permissions and group policies.
• Support LAN/WAN connectivity, printers, scanners, and network devices; maintain security standards.
• Follow IS security policies; educate end-users on best practices.
