Ambition is seeking technology transformation professionals to join banking, insurance, and digital platform initiatives in Kuala Lumpur. This role blends IT strategy with technology delivery, building the case for change and leading teams across Banking and Insurance platforms.

You will drive large-scale transformation programs, manage stakeholder communications, and mentor project teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in technology transformation, IT strategy, or program/project delivery, ideally in financial services.
• Hands-on exposure to banking, digital banking, or insurance system transformation.
• Track record on large, complex transformation programs.

• Lead technology strategy, solution architecture, and large-scale platform transformation initiatives.
• Assess technology landscapes and shape target operating models.
• Drive delivery as a BA/PM — requirements, solution design, testing, go-live.
• Own project planning, budgets, risk, and stakeholder reporting.

• Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to define project scope and approach.
• Identify opportunities to expand initiatives and contribute to proposals.
• Track emerging technology trends and bring relevant innovations into project planning.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 7 years in technology transformation, IT strategy, or program/project delivery - ideally financial services
• Hands-on exposure to Core Banking, Digital Banking, or Insurance system transformation
• Track record on large, complex transformation programs
• Strong stakeholder communication and team leadership skills
• Ability to translate complex requirements into solutions clear to both technical and business audiences
• Comfortable managing shifting priorities and ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
