Job summary

Accenture is seeking an experienced Manager/Senior Manager to lead banking transformation initiatives across Core Banking and Payments platforms in Kuala Lumpur. Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Manager / Senior Manager to lead and support banking transformation initiatives across Core Banking and Payments platforms. The ideal candidate will possess deep platform expertise, strong banking product and process knowledge, and hands-on implementation experience in one or more of the following domains: Lending, Deposits, Islamic Banking, or Payments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end functional delivery across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from Business Requirements Document (BRD), Functional Specification Document (FSD), System Integration Testing (SIT) through to User Acceptance Testing (UAT), implementation, and post-go-live support.
• Act as the Platform SME for either Core Banking or Payments platforms, translating business requirements into platform-aligned functional solutions and system configurations.
• Perform platform configuration, product setup, workflow design, parameterization, and support system integration.
• Manage and engage key stakeholders, including business users, product owners, technology teams, and vendors, to drive successful project delivery.
• Facilitate workshops, requirements gathering sessions, solution walkthroughs, functional design reviews, and decision-making discussions.
• Ensure solutions comply with business, regulatory, and project governance requirements

Key Requirements

• Hands-on implementations experience leading Core Banking or Payments transformation projects as a Functional Consultant or Platform SME.
• Strong expertise in either Core Banking (Lending, Deposits, or Islamic Banking) or Payments platforms.
• Deep knowledge of banking products, end-to-end business processes, and platform configuration.
• Strong understanding of the SDLC and the ability to translate business requirements into system solutions.
• Proven stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
