Job summary

Ambition, a global technology organisation, seeks an IT Project Manager for its Kulim, Kedah site on a permanent basis. You will lead technology-led delivery, owning milestones, plans, risks and stakeholder updates, ensuring solutions align with business outcomes.

You will have a degree in IT/PM/CS/Business and at least 4 years' IT project management experience; Mandarin fluency is essential. You will employ Waterfall and tools like MS Project, Jira or Confluence to govern delivery.

• Experience in IT project management, or SDLC.
• Fluency in Mandarin (written and spoken).
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholders.

The Role

You’ll drive technology-led delivery across the business, taking ownership of:

• Partnering with cross-functional teams to drive milestone delivery and shared accountability
• Building and managing project plans across timelines, budgets, and resources
• Scoping and shaping project objectives to align with wider programme strategy
• Applying predictive methodologies to maintain rigorous planning and project control
• Proactively managing risks and removing blockers to keep delivery on track
• Presenting clear stakeholder updates that connect technical progress to business outcomes
• Overseeing the integration of technology solutions, including cloud and AI tools, into business processes
• Upholding global IT governance, security, and data compliance standards
• Guiding early-stage project teams through structured project management approaches

What We're Looking For

A degree in IT, Project Management, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline, combined with:

• At least 4 years' experience in IT project management, business analysis, or SDLC
• Fluency in Mandarin (written and spoken) is essential for this role
• Strong working knowledge of predictive methodologies such as Waterfall
• Proficiency in project tools including Microsoft Project, Jira, or Confluence
• Confident communication, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management skills
