Job summary

System Protocol Information in Malaysia is seeking a Junior Project Manager to lead small IT projects and support Senior Project Managers in delivering client IT infrastructure, software, and applications. You will manage day-to-day project activities, coordinate teams, and ensure SLAs are met.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor's in IT/CS, at least 3 years in PM or IT coordination, strong communication and risk management, and the ability to work with clients and stakeholders in Klang

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Project Management, IT Project Coordination, or a Lead role within Software or Application Development.
• Good understanding of project management methodologies, IT service delivery, and organizational processes.
• Able to manage projects independently with guidance from Senior Project Managers.
• Able to collaborate effectively with project managers, technical teams, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Strong coordination and resource management skills.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Fresh graduates are not preferred for this position.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small project team or support Senior Project Managers in planning, executing, monitoring, and completing IT projects.
• Assist in developing project plans, timelines, schedules, and budgets.
• Track project progress and ensure project activities are completed according to schedule.
• Coordinate project team members, resources, clients, and relevant stakeholders.
• Prepare project status reports, documentation, and progress updates.
• Identify, monitor, and manage project risks and issues.
• Support the resolution of project-related challenges and operational issues.
• Manage day-to-day service operations for client maintenance contracts when required.
• Ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are consistently met or exceeded.
• Act as an escalation point for client service issues and coordinate root-cause analysis and effective resolution.
