Job summary

HaaS Technologies Sdn Bhd is seeking an IT Project Manager to lead end-to-end project delivery across a dynamic client portfolio in Kuala Lumpur. You will manage client relationships, communication, planning, and governance, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget.

The role requires 3+ years of PM experience, a relevant degree, and strong knowledge of Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid methodologies, with proficiency in MS Project, Jira, and Asana. PMP/PRINCE2 is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in project management or service delivery.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of PM methodologies: Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid.
• Hands-on experience with PM tools (MS Project, Jira, Asana) and with WBS/scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain client relationships throughout project lifecycle.
• Maintain clear and timely communication with clients and internal teams.
• Own end-to-end project delivery from initiation to launch.
• Develop detailed project plans, monitor milestones, and manage scope/time/budget.

• Prepare and present timely project status reports to clients and management.

What you'll be doing?

Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as their primary point of contact throughout the entire project lifecycle to ensure confidence and continuity at every stage.

Proactive Communication: Maintain clear and timely communication with clients and internal teams, providing regular project updates and addressing needs, challenges, and expectations in a professional manner.

End-to-End Project Delivery: Take full ownership of project execution from initiation through to launch, ensuring all deliverables are completed within the agreed scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards for project delivery.

Project Planning & Scheduling: Develop detailed project plans incorporating Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and scheduling tools to monitor progress, manage milestones, and keep all stakeholders aligned and informed.

Documentation Management: Maintain comprehensive and accurate project documentation throughout the project lifecycle, capturing what was delivered, what was achieved, and opportunities for improvement.

Billing & Invoice Management: Ensure payment milestones and billing processes are executed smoothly and accurately, including maintaining precise invoice forecasts based on delivery implementation.

Client Experience & Satisfaction: Drive an exceptional client experience through structured project completion surveys, consistently working to exceed client expectations in service delivery.

Reporting & Performance Tracking: Prepare and present timely project status reports for both clients and internal management, including weekly achievement updates and half-yearly department goal strategy reviews.

Who are they looking for?

Relevant Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in project management or service delivery roles is required, with preference for those who have managed end-to-end IT, cloud, or technical projects.

Educational Qualification: A Bachelor's Degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or a related field provides the academic foundation suited for this role.

Project Management Methodology: Strong working knowledge of project management methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid approaches is essential to managing diverse and complex project environments effectively.

Tool Proficiency: Hands-on experience with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, Asana, or similar platforms, along with practical experience in Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and project scheduling, is required.

Client & Stakeholder Management: Excellent client management and stakeholder communication skills are key, as the role involves regular client-facing engagement and cross-functional coordination.

Financial Awareness: Strong financial acumen including billing, invoice tracking, and delivery-based forecasting is important for managing project commercials effectively.

Planning & Problem-Solving: Strong organisational, planning, and problem-solving abilities are essential to navigate the demands of a multi-project delivery environment.

Language Proficiency: Strong proficiency in English (written and spoken) is essential for professional client communication and documentation.

Professional Certification: PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a strong advantage and will be highly regarded in the selection process.
