Job summary

MHA Consultancy Services in Kuala Lumpur seeks an experienced IT Project Coordinator to independently manage IT projects and workstreams, ensuring delivery meets scope, timeline, quality, and business objectives. You will develop project plans, milestones, and task breakdowns, and coordinate across Development, UI/UX, QA, DevOps, and external stakeholders to drive progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, IT, CS or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in IT Project Coordination/PM, preferably in Software/Fintech.
• Proven experience managing IT projects from planning to production release.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, project planning, risk/change management, UAT, and release processes.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Strong ownership, accountability, organization, and time management skills.
• Experience in process improvement, automation, digitalization, or AI is an advantage.
• Experience mentoring or coaching junior team members preferred.
• Good command of English and Mandarin to communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage IT projects/workstreams, ensuring delivery meets scope, timeline, quality, and business objectives.
• Develop and manage project plans, milestones, and task breakdowns, and coordinate across Development, UI/UX, QA, DevOps, and external stakeholders to drive progress.
• Own project progress, risks, issues, dependencies, blockers, and escalations with timely solutions.
• Coordinate development, testing, UAT, and production release, ensuring readiness and smooth delivery.
• Prepare project status reports and risk updates for clear visibility.
