Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an IT Business Operations Manager in Butterworth, Penang to enhance operational efficiency, service quality, and procurement processes. You will support the General Manager and other managers to ensure smooth service delivery.

The role focuses on SOP compliance, process improvement, supplier management, and building a capable team. Immediate start is preferred for a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma/postgraduate diploma or Bachelor's in CS or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in related field with at least 1 year in leadership/management.
• Experience in system integrator and IT infrastructure.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Independent and able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Immediate start is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support and improve daily business operations.
• Identify operational gaps and inefficiencies; implement improvements.
• Develop, review, and improve SOPs; ensure quotation accuracy.
• Improve documentation practices and SOP standards.
• Strengthen supplier relationships and cost control in IT sourcing.
• Monitor service delivery performance and address delays.
• Coordinate resources for urgent requests and ensure timely resolution.
• Review overall operational performance and risk; escalate major issues to management.
