IT Manager - Senior IT Manager (DX, Core Business Systems - Infrastructure)

Job Title: Head of Unit, System (Core Applications & DX Modernization)

Salary: Up to MYR 11,000 per month

About the Role

Are you a strategic IT Leader or Senior Project Manager passionate about core application governance, business process optimization, and system modernization?

We are looking for a Head of System to take full ownership of our enterprise business applications, including core financial systems, lending, and collection platforms. In this key leadership role, you will ensure total system stability, lead core modernization projects, and collaborate closely with our Digital Transformation Team to integrate next-generation digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Application Ownership & Governance: Oversee end-to-end performance, stability, and security for all business applications (Core Financial System, AutoCount, XCally, etc.).

System Modernization: Drive the enhancement, integration, and upgrade of our core financial platforms to support long-term growth.

DX Collaboration: Partner with the Digital Transformation Team to integrate new AI, analytics, and automation tools into existing systems.

Vendor & Delivery Management: Translate business requirements into technical specs, manage software vendors, and govern project delivery from UAT to go-live.

Data Integrity: Govern data quality and integration between core systems and data reporting platforms.

(Note: Hardware, server, and network infrastructure management are managed separately and excluded from this scope).

Negotiable up to RM11,000 (depends on performance and experience)

Requirements

Degree or Diploma

4 to 6 years of experience in application management, IT project delivery, or systems implementation.

1 to 2 years in a system leadership or project management role.

Proven track record in managing core financial, lending, collections, or enterprise business-critical applications.

Strong background in vendor governance, SDLC, UAT, and data integration.

20–25 days annual leave

RM500 annual flexi allowance

Mobile allowance up to RM250/month
