Job summary

Jora Malaysia seeks a Senior Manager - Information Technology - Digital Transformation to lead the IT strategy and drive digital initiatives across the organisation. You will oversee ERP/CRM and other enterprise systems, shaping governance, security, and budget oversight while guiding a dynamic IT team.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation and efficiency, ensuring reliable operations, data governance and timely project delivery in a complex environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant IT experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
• Strong experience in IT infrastructure, enterprise applications and digital transformation.
• Hands-on exposure to ERP/CRM and system integration; SIS/LMS experience would be an advantage.
• Good understanding of cybersecurity, cloud technology, IT governance and disaster recovery.
• Experience managing IT projects, vendors, contracts and technology budgets.
• Experience within higher education, healthcare or multi-entity organisations would be advantageous.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to communicate technology matters to senior management.
• Certifications such as ITIL, PMP, CISM, CISA, CISSP or relevant cloud certifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the organisation’s IT strategy, digital transformation roadmap and technology improvement initiatives.
• Oversee enterprise systems including ERP, CRM, SIS/LMS, HR, Finance and other business applications.
• Manage IT infrastructure, cloud environment, networks, cybersecurity, system availability and disaster recovery.
• Drive systems integration, workflow automation, data governance, dashboards and digitalisation initiatives.
• Manage IT projects from requirements gathering through implementation, UAT, deployment and post-implementation review.
• Manage technology vendors, contracts, licensing, SLA performance and IT expenditure.
• Establish appropriate IT governance, cybersecurity controls, policies and risk-management practices.
• Lead and develop the internal IT team while coordinating with external technology partners.
• Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and technology-enabled efficiency.
• Provide management with regular updates on IT performance, projects, cybersecurity risks and technology priorities.
