Job summary

Kino Biotech (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a motivated MIS Intern for a fully onsite internship in Telok Panglima Garang, Selangor. You will gain hands-on experience with business information systems, data management, reporting, and administrative tasks while collaborating with the MIS team and cross-functional departments.

Responsibilities include system support, data accuracy checks, dashboard generation, and creating user guides.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Detail-oriented with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willing to learn and able to commit to a full-time, fully onsite internship in Telok Panglima Garang, Selangor.

Responsibilities

• System support and data management: maintain databases and system docs; monitor data accuracy; generate reports and dashboards; highlight discrepancies.
• Technical and operational support: assist with system issues, user acceptance testing, and process improvements; help prepare user guides and SOPs.
• Administrative and coordination tasks: coordinate with departments for reports, maintain MIS records, perform ad hoc duties; learn system documentation and cross-functional coordination.

Job description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Management Information System (MIS) Intern to join our team. This is a fully onsite internship in Telok Panglima Garang, Selangor, where you'll gain hands-on experience in business information systems, data management, system improvements, reporting, and administrative support while collaborating with the MIS team and cross-functional departments.

Key Responsibilities

1. System Support and Data Management

• Assist in maintaining and updating internal databases, records, and system-related documentation.
• Support the MIS team in monitoring data accuracy, consistency, and timely entry into relevant systems.
• Help generate regular reports, dashboards, and data summaries for management and operational use.
• Assist in identifying data issues and highlighting discrepancies for correction and follow-up.

2. Technical and Operational Support

• Provide basic support for system-related issues and elevate matters to the relevant team members when necessary.
• Assist in user acceptance testing, system checks, and process improvement initiatives for internal applications and tools.
• Support the preparation of user guides, training materials, and standard operating procedures for system usage.

3. Administrative and Coordination Tasks

• Coordinate with internal departments to collect information required for reports, system updates, and process documentation.
• Maintain proper filing and organization of MIS-related records, reports, and reference materials.
• Perform any other ad hoc duties and assignments as assigned by the superior.
• Hands-on exposure to business information systems, reporting processes, and data management practices.
• Practical experience in preparing reports, maintaining records, and supporting internal system operations.
• Opportunities to learn system documentation, process improvement, and cross-functional coordination.
• Development of analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills in a corporate working environment.
