Job summary

KVC Industrial Supplies Sdn Bhd invites an IT/Data Science internship candidate in Malaysia to join our team for 3–6 months. You will support IT, analytics, automation, and digital transformation projects, assist in data collection and reporting, and help document processes and requirements.

Collaboration across cross-functional teams and regular project meetings are expected. Ideal candidates are pursuing relevant degrees, possess strong analytical skills, and are eager to learn.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in CS/IT/Software Engineering/Data Science/Statistics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Basic programming knowledge (Python, Java, SQL) is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Eager to learn and able to work independently when required.
• Able to commit to an internship period of 3 to 6 months.
• Prior exposure to data analytics, Power BI, AI, or automation tools is a plus.

Job Requirements:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, or related fields.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, SQL, or similar is an advantage.

Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Eager to learn, proactive, and able to work independently when required.

Able to commit to an internship period of at least 3 to 6 months.

Prior exposure to data analytics, software development, Power BI, AI, or automation tools is an added advantage.

Ideal Candidate: Motivated, analytical, tech-savvy, and keen to gain hands‐on experience in a dynamic project environment.
