Job summary

WCT Holdings in Malaysia is seeking an IT Infrastructure/Support professional to implement and maintain network infrastructure and IT projects. You will install and troubleshoot hardware, software, servers, and peripherals while providing timely end-user support on hardware, software, networks, and applications.

Responsibilities include backing up data, maintaining LAN/WAN, VPNs, and coordinating with vendors on system issues.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in IT, CS, or related field.
3+ years in IT infrastructure or system support; fresh grads with internship are encouraged.
Knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, network administration, backup solutions and hardware troubleshooting.
Familiarity with virtualization, firewall, switches, routers and application support is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

Assist in implementing and maintaining network infrastructure and IT projects.
Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot hardware, software, servers and peripherals.
Perform and monitor daily backups to ensure all file systems and critical data are backed up.
Provide technical support for hardware, software, networks and applications.
Support and maintain LAN/WAN, wireless networks, VPNs and other network infrastructure.
Troubleshoot application system issues and coordinate with vendors or developers when necessary.
Monitor server health, system performance and IT security to ensure business continuity.
Maintain accurate documentation of IT assets, system configurations, backup logs and procedures.
Perform any other duties assigned by the IT Manager or Management from time to time.
