IT Infrastructure Engineer – Asia Delivery & Support

Job summary

ZF Group in Malaysia seeks an IT Infrastructure Engineer to support the Aftermarket division across Asia (excluding China and India). Based in Johor Bahru, you will ensure stable IT operations across plants and warehouses and drive digital transformation with regional teams.

Requirements include a degree in information systems or related field and 5+ years in IT infra, with strong network/server knowledge and ISO awareness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in IT infrastructure roles, preferably automotive.
• Strong technical knowledge of servers, networks, and data centers.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001/ISO 14001 is an advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking and decision making.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with proactive attitude.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and coordinate projects to deadlines.
• Experience in international/cross-functional environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure including servers, storage, backup and data center operations at Johor Bahru plant and PTP Warehouse.
• Provide support for local network and Wi‑Fi infrastructure, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting and lifecycle management.
• Ensure implementation of IT security standards, system patching, monitoring and issue remediation.
• Support workplace IT services, including end-user devices, printing, telephony, and conference room technologies.
• Act as a Digital Advisor to promote and implement IT solutions that support business digitalization and production efficiency.
• Coordinate and support global and local IT projects, system rollouts and process improvements.
• Engage in audits (e.g. TISAX, ISO, ITAF) and ensure compliance with corporate IT and security requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Asia to provide IT support and knowledge sharing.
