Job summary

Ampmech Industries Sdn Bhd is seeking an IT Executive to maintain and support the group's IT systems across multiple branches. You will safeguard infrastructure, support core business apps, and drive automation and AI integration to improve efficiency.

You will also manage the EV charging platform, provide helpdesk support, and train staff while standardising IT setups across sites to ensure reliable communications.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in IT or related field.
• Experience with ERP systems, Microsoft 365, and networking.
• Knowledge of data security and backup practices.
• Familiarity with AI tools and automation platforms to enhance processes.
• Exposure to EV charging platforms or IoT is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Able to support multiple branches and work independently.
• Proficiency in English is essential.

We are seeking an IT Executive to support and maintain the IT systems of our multi-branch engineering sales, trading, and service business. You will keep our infrastructure secure, support core business applications, drive automation and AI integration, and support the operation of our EV charging system to improve efficiency across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

Maintain servers, networks, workstations, and IT equipment across all branches.

Support and troubleshoot ERP/accounting/inventory systems (e.g. AutoCount) and Microsoft 365.

Manage data security, backups, user access, and cybersecurity.

Develop and maintain digital tools (Google Forms, AppSheet, Excel dashboards, Power Automate) to automate manual workflows.

Identify and integrate AI tools into existing workflows to boost productivity and streamline day-to-day operations.

Support the operation and management of the EV charging system, including platform monitoring, troubleshooting, and data reporting.

Provide helpdesk support, staff training, and IT asset management.

Standardise IT setup and ensure reliable communication across branches.

Requirements

Diploma/Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.

Experience with ERP systems, Microsoft 365, and networking.

Knowledge of data security and backup practices.

Familiarity with AI tools and automation platforms to enhance business processes.

Exposure to EV charging platforms or IoT systems is an advantage.

Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Able to support multiple branches and work independently.

At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Proficiency in English is essential, both written and verbal.
