Job summary

MYFutureJobs is recruiting on behalf of an established EMS in Senawang, Negeri Sembilan. The IT Executive will provide end-user support and manage desktop, server, and network maintenance in a manufacturing setting.

The role requires 2–5 years of project experience, fluency in Chinese, English, and Bahasa Malaysia, and a Diploma/Bachelor in IT. This is a permanent contract with a monthly salary of RM3,000–RM5,000.

Qualifications

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s in Computer Science/IT or related background.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years’ project experience preferably in manufacturing industry.
• Languages: Chinese (Mandarin), English, and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of IT networks, servers, security, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provide solutions and technical support to end-users on IT-related issues.
• Set up, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, notebooks, databases, servers, and network including firewall rules, IP configurations, LAN, WAN and intranet settings, VPN and production workstations.
• Deploy and administer NAS storage with user access control and storage quotas.
• Perform routine data backups for Applications, Email, and Network File Server.
• Manage IT hardware/software asset inventory and license renewals.

Position Details

Position Level: Junior Executive

Salary: RM3,000 – RM5,000

Key Responsibilities

• Provide solutions & technical support to end-users on IT related issues.
• Responsible for setup, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of desktops, notebooks, databases, servers, network including firewall rules, IP configurations, LAN, WAN & intranet settings, firewall, switches, routers, VPN and production workstations.
• Deploy and administer NAS storage, including user access control and storage quotas.
• Perform routine daily & weekly Application, Email & Network File Server data backup.
• Manage asset and inventory of IT-related hardware and software.
• Ensure proper documentation and tracking of all IT infrastructure inventory list, license renewal, and hardware warranty renewal.
• Address hardware and software faults/issues promptly to minimize service disruptions.
• Schedule and perform regular system housekeeping to ensure optimal system performance.
• Conduct cyber risk and network security assessment.
• Research, propose solutions or systems enhancement plan and provide advice for IT purchase.
• Liaise with vendors for service upgrades, application maintenance and other support services.
• Perform analysis, diagnosis and resolution of incident reported where possible for hardware, software, network, and application.
• Track and monitor problems to ensure a timely resolution.
• Manage documentation of work processes, system workflow and operating procedures including IT policies and their implementation.
• Maintain and administer the company website, including content updates, website monitoring, and basic troubleshooting. Coordinate with web developers or hosting providers for website maintenance and issue resolution.
• Support internal and external audits, including ISO 9001 compliance.
• Perform other duties assigned as and when required.

Requirements

• Education level: Diploma/bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Computer Science/Information Technology or other related background.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years’ project experience preferably in manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge: Must be able to speak & write in Chinese (Mandarin), English, and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Technical Skills & Competencies: Good proficiency in using Microsoft Office. Possess knowledge in IT networks, server, security and troubleshooting skills.
