Job summary

Marc Conleth Industries Sdn Bhd in Kajang, Selangor, is hiring an IT Technician to install and configure computer hardware, software, networks, printers and scanners, and to plan planned maintenance upgrades. The role requires a Diploma or Degree in Computer Science/IT, at least 2 years of related experience, and familiarity with AD, DHCP, DNS and virtualization.

Immediate availability is preferred. The successful candidate will troubleshoot Windows OS, maintain software licenses, support IT

Qualifications

• Requires Diploma or Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology.
• Minimum 2 years of related IT experience.
• Knowledge of AD, DHCP, DNS and virtualization is an advantage.
• Experience supporting and troubleshooting Windows OS and basic networking/server issues.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners.
• Plan and undertake scheduled maintenance upgrades.
• Troubleshoot and respond to IT-related issues/breakdowns.
• Respond promptly to service issues and requests.
• Set up office equipment for new joiners.
• Investigate, diagnose and solve software and hardware faults.
• Source and liaise with suppliers on IT-related purchases.
• Maintain records of software licenses.
• Handle ISO-related requirements and documentation preparation.
• Ensure the security of data, network access and control structures.
• Ad-hoc tasks as required by management.

Job description

Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners.

Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance upgrades.

Troubleshooting and responding to IT related matters/breakdowns.

Responding promptly to service issues and requests.

Setting up office equipment (PC, email address and etc) for the new joiner.

Investigating, diagnosing and solving computer software and hardware faults.

Sourcing and liaising with suppliers on IT related purchase.

Maintaining records of software license.

Handle ISO related requirement and documentation preparation.

Ensure the security of data, network access and control structures.

Any ad-hoc tasks as required by management from time to time.

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology.

At least 2 years working experience in the related field is required in this position or more of related working experience.

Knowledge in AD, DHCP, DNS and virtualization will be an added advantage.

Experience supporting and troubleshooting Windows OS, diagnosing basic network and server.

Immediate available is highly preferred.
