Ultranet Technologies Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an IT Business Analyst / Functional Consultant to bridge business vision and system delivery across Agile cycles. You will own functional direction, document requirements, and lead workshops with clients to capture workflows.

In this client-facing role, you will translate needs into functional designs, support UAT, and collaborate with PM, Dev, QA, and UI/UX to ensure solutions are usable and aligned to real business processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in relevant fields (Business/IT/CS/IS).
• Minimum 2 years experience as Functional Consultant / Business Analyst / System Analyst.
• Strong analytical thinking and business process understanding.
• Experience with CRM/ERP/MES/Booking/E-commerce/Enterprise Systems.
• Familiarity with Agile / fast-paced delivery environments.

Responsabilités

• Lead requirement discovery workshops and business process deep-dives.
• Translate business needs into clear functional design and system logic.
• Identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities early.
• Ensure requirement clarity before development begins.
• Drive structured functional documentation (FSD, workflows, business rules).
• Support UAT, sign-off, and post-go-live adoption.

Role Purpose

You will act as the bridge between business vision and system execution, ensuring digital solutions are meaningful, usable, and aligned to real business workflows.

This is a client-facing, thinking-driven rolerequiring strong ownership, analytical mindset, and ability to lead functional direction across Agile delivery cycles.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business / IT / Computer Science / Information Systems
• Min. 2 yearsexperience in Functional Consultant / Business Analyst / System Analyst role
• Strong analytical thinking and business process understanding
• Experience in CRM / ERP / MES /Booking / E-commerce / Enterprise Systems
• Experience in Manufacturing Execution system (MES) will be added advantage
• Experience in software / digital / enterprise system projects
• Comfortable working in Agile / fast-paced delivery environment
• Strong requirement structuring and documentation capability
• Good stakeholder and client communication skills
• Ability to handle ambiguity and drive clarity
• Exposure to system integration, API workflows, or automation
• Experience handling UAT and client-facing delivery
• Experience in digital transformation or process improvement initiatives
• Fresh graduate are encouraged to apply

What You Will Do

Functional Thinking & Requirement Leadership

• Lead requirement discovery workshops and business process deep-dive
• Translate business needs into clear functional design and system logic
• Identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities early
• Ensure requirement clarity before development begins
• Drive structured functional documentation (FSD, workflows, business rules)

Digital Transformation Contribution

• Analyse client business workflows and propose digital improvements
• Ensure systems are aligned to operational reality, not theoretical design
• Support process optimisation, automation, and system adoption
• Contribute to continuous improvement across projects

Agile Delivery & Ownership

• Work actively within sprint cycles (planning, grooming, review)
• Ensure backlog readiness and requirement traceability
• Collaborate closely with PM, Dev, QA, and UI/UX as one delivery team
• Take ownership of functional outcomes, not just documentation

Client Partnership & Communication

• Act as functional advisor to clients, guiding them through solution logic
• Present workflows, system behaviour, and functional designs clearly
• Manage requirement clarity, scope understanding, and expectation alignment
• Support UAT, sign-off, and post-go-live adoption
