Hilti (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking an IT Business Analyst for Digital Product Lifecycle Management in Kuala Lumpur. You will partner with business teams to define requirements and collaborate with technical staff to craft compelling solution scenarios supporting product master data management.

In an agile environment, you’ll define technical specs, configure systems, run tests, support go-lives, and drive continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Management, CS, or CE.
• Basic coding knowledge in XML, Java, or JavaScript.
• End-to-end view from planning to documentation.
• Willingness to learn and improve processes.
• Strong English communication skills.

IT Business Analyst - Digital Product Lifecycle Management

Digital Product Lifecycle Management drives excellence across the Product Portfolio Management process, data and systems at Hilti. In your role as IT Business Analyst, you will support and deliver creative, innovative and reliable solutions within our Product Master Data Mgmt. landscape. You will continuously improve product data solutions to achieve business success and will work on solution architecture, custom development and process optimization with a global responsibility.

You will be located in our strategic IT office in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) and you will be part of our international team (located in Malaysia and Switzerland).

What You'll do

As an IT Business Analyst, you will partner with different business teams at Hilti to define requirements as well as partner with technical staff to develop convincing solution scenarios.

You will be responsible to prepare and take decisions, actions and implement reliable and sustainable digital solutions in an agile manner. In this regard, you will need to define technical specifications, perform system configurations, execute testing, support the go-lives and improve the system with further product increments.

In addition, with your detailed understanding of business processes and related IT systems you develop and apply frameworks to continuously improve our global product data offerings and processes. You will also be responsible for maintenance and operational support.

You have business acumen, strong analytical skills and are persistent.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or you are passionate about IT (proven records of IT experience)
• You have general coding knowledge about XML, Java, Java script or any other programming language
• An end-to-end perspective (from planning, implementing, maintaining to continuous improvement and documentation)
• Willingness to learn
• Courage to challenge and desire to improve things
• Great communication skills (English is a must)
• Experience as a Business Analyst in a PIM or MDM environment is a plus
• You have knowledge about relational databases (knowledge graph would be a plus)
