The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree and 1–3 years of experience in IT analysis, with strong communication and documentation skills to support analysis, UAT, and training activities.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyse business requirements from stakeholders across the organisation to identify process improvements and technology solutions
• Create detailed documentation including functional specifications, use cases, process flows and requirements traceability matrices
• Conduct feasibility studies and impact assessments for proposed IT solutions and system changes
• Collaborate with system architects and technical teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
• Perform gap analysis between current systems and desired future state, recommending optimal solutions
• Support system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT) and implementation phases to ensure business requirements are met
• Provide training and documentation to end-users on new systems and processes
• Monitor system performance post-implementation and identify areas for optimisation and enhancement
• Liaise between business departments and IT teams to ensure clear communication and successful project delivery
• Maintain detailed project records and documentation for knowledge management and process improvement

About the role

JS INTECH SOLUTIONS SDN. BHD. is seeking an IT Business Analyst to join our dynamic team in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial strategic role in bridging the gap between business objectives and technology solutions. As an IT Business Analyst, you will be instrumental in understanding organisational needs, translating them into technical requirements, and ensuring successful implementation of IT systems and solutions. This role is essential to our company's ability to deliver value-driven technology initiatives that support business growth and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

Gather and analyse business requirements from stakeholders across the organisation to identify process improvements and technology solutions

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field

Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role within IT environments

Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and IT project management methodologies such as Agile methodology

Proficiency in requirements analysis and elicitation techniques, including stakeholder interviews and workshops

Experience with business analysis tools and software such as Visio, JIRA or similar platforms

Excellent knowledge of data analysis, process mapping and systems modelling

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences

Demonstrated problem-solving abilities with a logical and analytical approach to challenges

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise effectively

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and databases is essential
