Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Manage overall IT strategy and administration for company across multiple physical locations
• Administer and improve IT hardware and software including desktop/server software/hardware (e.g. accounting software, Windows OS, user account management, etc.)
• IT equipment (e.g. CCTV, alarm, telephony, handphones, printers, backup battery system, etc.)
• Provide IT support to company personnel regarding IT related issues
• Administer and improve the overall security of the company’s IT hardware and software assets
• Conduct routine audits of systems, security settings, and software compliance
• Liaise with vendors for sourcing, installation, commissioning, and testing of software/hardware
• Assist in sourcing and purchasing of hardware, software, and IT supplies
• Review and recommend improvements to existing IT work practices
• Develop disaster recovery plans and maintain regular system backups
• Conduct IT training for staff
• Perform other responsibilities assigned by management

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor\u2019s Degree in MIS/IT related or computer science qualification
• Candidate should have at least 5 years of working experience in systems administration and network administration
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure management, including hardware, software, and network systems
• Knowledge of backup systems and proficiency in maintaining comprehensive IT documentation
• Possess own transport and is able to travel
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Hybrid working environment (Able to also partly work from home)
