Job summary

Pertama Makmur Sdn Bhd is seeking a Quality Assurance and Control Engineer to oversee ISO-based quality management for civil infrastructure projects in Malaysia. You will plan, direct, and implement QA/QC activities to meet ISO 9001 standards and client contract requirements.

You will review audit results, coordinate management reviews, and ensure teams are trained and competent. Strong documentation and communication with consultants and site teams are essential for success.

Qualifications

Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
3–5 years QA/QC experience in infrastructure or civil projects.
Good knowledge of ISO 9001 and relevant construction standards.
Familiar with inspection procedures, ITPs, method statements, and material testing requirements.
Strong documentation, reporting and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

Coordinate quality management system performance for top management.
Act as Management Representative for ISO.
Plan, direct, manage and implement project QA/QC activities per ISO, QC and contract requirements.
Review internal audits and client project audits; ensure corrective actions and closeout.
Liaise with project personnel on all quality matters and coordinate management reviews.
Ensure personnel are trained and competent to perform tasks; perform other duties as assigned.
