Job summary

China State Construction & Engineering Malaysia Sdn Bhd, a CSCEC subsidiary, seeks a Quality Assurance & Control Engineer to join our projects in Penang. The role focuses on inspecting materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications, and on analyzing data to drive corrective actions on-site.

The candidate should have a Civil/Construction background, be detail-oriented, and capable of coordinating with the Project Team.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
1–2 years of working experience is an advantage.
Sound knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and construction standards.
Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, site-based environment.
Required languages: Bahasa Malaysia, English; Mandarin is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

Perform inspections and tests on materials, components, and finished products to verify adherence to specifications.
Analyze data and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Maintain accurate records of inspection and test results, including deviations and corrective actions taken.
Prepare quality documentation such as inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and quality metrics.
Participate in internal and external audits, providing documentation and support as needed.
