Job summary

Tai Sin Electric Cables (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Document Controller to manage and control quality documents, records and related procedures within a manufacturing setting.

You will coordinate document revisions, maintain traceability and support external audits. The role requires a Diploma or Degree in Quality Management or related field and 2–3 years of QA/QC or document control experience, with strong MS Office skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in QA/QC, ISO or document control, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 Management System requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure policies, procedures, work instructions, forms and records are properly controlled.
• Coordinate the review and revision of controlled documents.
• Control the issuance, revision, distribution and withdrawal of ISO documents.
• Maintain proper filing and traceability of quality records.
• Ensure employees use the latest approved version of documents.
• Maintain document retention and disposal records according to company requirements.
• Follow up with departments on overdue document reviews.
• Assist during external certification and surveillance audits.
• Record audit findings, observations and non-conformities.
• Monitor Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), Corrective Action Requests (CAR) and improvement actions.
• Follow up with responsible departments to ensure corrective actions are completed on time.
• Maintain proper records for inspections, audits, quality issues and corrective actions.
• Prepare periodic QA/IMS reports for management.
• Monitor document and audit KPIs where applicable.
• Ensure quality records are complete, accurate and readily retrievable.
• Assist in conducting IMS awareness training for employees.
• Ensure relevant employees are informed of changes to procedures and work instructions.
