Job summary

Hong Leong Bank in Malaysia seeks a senior leader to drive the Islamic Wealth Management (IWM) growth, focusing on expanding high-net-worth and Malay customer segments, and managing the Takaful portfolio while implementing VBI principles across customer journeys.

You will oversee product development across five pillars of IWM, lead digital lifestyle marketing, and coordinate cross-functional projects to deliver sustainable improvements in banking products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification is required.
• Ten years of work experience in Islamic finance or wealth management.
• Extensive knowledge of investment products (equities, bonds, currencies, structured products).
• Mandatory: FIMM License and IPPC Certified Islamic Financial Planner.
• Preferred: Additional Takaful/Insurance licenses.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Growth and Business Development: Drive the growth of the Islamic High Net Worth, Private, and Malay customer base.
• Product Development and Project Execution: Develop and deploy Islamic Wealth Management product initiatives across five pillars.
• Value-Based Intermediation (VBI) and Governance: Implement VBI initiatives.
• Islamic Digital Lifestyle and Marketing: Lead digital marketing initiatives to build the Bank's image.
• Management and Project Leadership: Lead cross-functional projects and drive process improvements.
