Hong Leong Bank Berhad is seeking a senior leader to drive Islamic Wealth Management growth in Malaysia. The role focuses on expanding the Malay and high-net-worth client base, managing the Takaful portfolio, and delivering a comprehensive product suite across five pillars of IWM with strong governance and VBI alignment.

The ideal candidate will bring substantial experience in Islamic finance and wealth management, with relevant licenses (FIMM, IPPC, Islamic Financial Planner) and a track record

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• Minimum ten years of work experience in Islamic finance, wealth management, or banking products.
• Strong knowledge in a wide array of investment products (e.g., equities, bonds, currencies).
• Licenses/certifications: FIMM, IPPC, Islamic Financial Planner; takaful licenses preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategic growth and development of IWM across HLISB.
• Expand Islamic high net worth, private and Malay customer segments.
• Lead product development for five pillars of Islamic Wealth Management.
• Oversee Takaful portfolio and related partnerships.
• Champion VBI principles across customer journeys and governance.
• Lead digital lifestyle, marketing, and engagement initiatives for IWM.
• Coordinate cross functional programs and project leadership.
