Qualifications

• Ability to foster the love of Islam in children aged 3-16 years old.
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Ability to produce creative and engaging lessons using the English medium.
• Strong knowledge of Islamic principles, beliefs, and practices.
• Experience in Education / Early Childhood is an added advantage.
• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive and respectful learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Implement fun and engaging lessons on Islamic principles, beliefs, and practices for children aged 3-16 years old.
• Develop and implement an effective Islamic Studies curriculum in alignment with the school's educational objectives.
• Evaluate and assess student performance, providing constructive feedback and guidance to support their progress.
• Monitor student behavior and maintain classroom discipline, ensuring a safe and conducive learning environment.
• Stay updated with current research, trends, and developments in Islamic education to enhance teaching methods and content.
• Attend Parent-Teacher interviews, meetings, Professional Development sessions, and other relevant functions.
• Submit report cards, notes to parents, lesson plans, attendance sheets, and other related documents.
• Act as a role model for students in dress code and behavior.

Education

Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Islamic Studies, Islamic Education, or a related field
