Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Studies, Shariah, Usuluddin, Education or a relevant discipline.

Responsibilities

• Design and conduct engaging Studies lessons that meet the learning needs of primary and/or secondary students.
• Create suitable teaching resources, activities, and interactive materials based on the school’s Studies curriculum.
• Deliver lessons effectively in accordance with the prescribed syllabus and learning objectives.
• Evaluate and track students’ academic performance, comprehension, classroom participation, and overall development.
• Develop lesson plans, exercises, quizzes, tests, examinations, and other forms of assessment.
• Establish a well-managed classroom environment that promotes respect, discipline, positive values, and active learning.
• Guide and mentor students in their academic studies, character building, moral development, and personal growth.
• Instil positive values, good manners, self-discipline, and responsible behaviour among students.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with parents, students, and school administrators regarding academic performance, behaviour, and student development.
• Take part in school programmes, events, assemblies, meetings, professional development sessions, and co-curricular activities.
• Assist with and actively participate in Quranic programmes, religious events, educational talks, workshops, and other student development initiatives.
• Monitor students’ safety, discipline, well-being, and compliance with school policies and regulations during school hours.
