Job summary

Cartrack is seeking a Sales Engineer to join our fast-growing Malaysia team. You will translate customer needs into technical requirements and present demonstrations that show how our IoT-enabled mobility solutions solve real challenges.

You will develop ROI evaluations, create proofs of concept scripts, onboard clients, and nurture long-term relationships. You will work with product teams to adapt features to customer needs and become a trusted technology partner.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering/CS or STEM from a reputed university.
• Minimum 3 years in pre-sales or software implementation.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to simplify tech for various audiences.
• Understanding of software architecture and IoT/AI/Cloud.
• Strong understanding of APIs.

Responsibilities

• Know Cartrack solutions and translate customer needs into technical requirements.
• Develop ROI evaluations based on customer use cases and requirements.
• Organize, plan, and deliver demonstrations and proofs of concept; write scripts to tackle customer challenges.
• Build strong client relationships and onboard customers; pursue upsell opportunities.
• Collaborate with product teams to inform feature development and align with customer needs.
• Develop industry knowledge of IoT-based outbound operational management and system integrations.
