Job summary

Inchcape Shipping Services is seeking a detail-oriented finance and operations assistant to support the automated invoicing process and DA services. You will manage exceptions, follow up with vendors, dispatch DAs, and contribute to QA checks across the Eyeshare and Optic platforms.

The role emphasizes accuracy, structured workflows, and proactive communication with operators and vendors, with opportunities to learn and grow within a global maritime services network.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in maritime or accounts-related fields.
• Finance or billing background is advantageous.
• Familiarity with DA processes or invoicing systems preferred.
• Port Agency experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor invoice processing dashboards for exceptions and errors.
• Follow up with vendors on missing or rejected invoices after automation.
• Communicate with operators and vendors to resolve basic invoice issues.
• Update invoice statuses and service details in Eyeshare.
• Escalate unresolved issues to mid-level team or Operators as needed.
• Log customer queries or disputes and escalate where required.
• Perform standard job- and DA-level quality checks as directed.
• Dispatch DAs to customers via email/principal portal and other channels.
• Update DA records in Optic and participate in process improvements.
