Job summary

SANTANMAS FOOD INDUSTRIES SDN BHD in Sungai Buloh, Selangor is seeking a Storekeeper to manage inventory and safeguard stock across warehousing and distribution operations. You will record, organise, and ensure availability of materials to support smooth supply chain activities.

Candidates should have experience in storekeeping or related roles, strong organisational skills, and familiarity with inventory systems; forklift certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a Storekeeper or in a similar warehousing, inventory management or storage role.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with strong organisational skills and prioritisation.
• Proficiency in using inventory management systems and warehouse software.
• Attention to detail with accurate record keeping and documentation.
• Physical capability to handle stock movement and warehouse duties.
• Familiarity with warehouse health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, inspecting and recording incoming goods and materials into the inventory system.
• Organising and storing stock in designated locations using appropriate storage methods and safety procedures.
• Maintaining accurate inventory records and conducting regular stock counts to ensure reconciliation with system records.
• Preparing goods for dispatch and ensuring orders are correctly picked, packed and documented.
• Monitoring stock levels and flagging any discrepancies or damaged items.
• Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks in compliance with safety regulations.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment within the warehouse.
• Supporting the implementation of storage systems and best practices to optimise warehouse space and efficiency.
• Responding to ad hoc requests and assisting with other warehouse duties as required.
