Job summary

PTB TEX SDN BHD is seeking a Merchandising Clerk in Malaysia (Penang area) to support product operations and the supply chain. The role focuses on data management, inventory control, reporting, and coordinating with vendors to ensure smooth procurement and stock replenishment.

Key activities include maintaining SKU listings, processing supplier forms, monitoring stock and shipments, handling orders and invoices, and preparing weekly/write-off reports for management review.

Qualifications

• Experience with data management and stock/sku records.
• Attention to accuracy and detail in data entry.
• Ability to generate basic reports and summaries.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain accurate product SKU listings in the system
• Update rental and promotional agreements as required
• Process and manage new supplier application forms
• Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment
• Track container shipments and delivery schedules
• Manage purchase orders and verify invoices
• Prepare and submit weekly write-off reports
• Update and maintain monthly order records and summaries
• Coordinate with suppliers on product availability
• Follow up on delivery timelines and shipment updates
