Job summary

Better Power (M) Sdn Bhd in Seremban seeks a Store & Warehouse Manager to oversee daily operations, manage inventory, and ensure proper storage of materials, tools and consumables.

The role involves receiving/issuing materials, maintaining stock records, coordinating with Purchasing and Projects, and upholding safety and ISO 9001 standards. Strong organization and communication are essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store and warehouse operations.
• Ensure materials, tools, equipment and consumables are properly stored, labelled and organized.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure adequate inventory is maintained.
• Ensure proper housekeeping, cleanliness and safety within the store.
• Maintain an updated inventory and stock record.
• Receive, inspect and verify incoming materials against PO/DO/invoices.
• Record all incoming and outgoing materials.
• Issue materials, tools and equipment to site personnel based on approved requests.
• Ensure proper acknowledgement and documentation for all material collections and returns.
• Conduct regular stock checks and physical inventory counts.
• Monitor stock movement and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare stock reports and update inventory records.
• Identify low-stock items and notify Purchasing for replenishment.
• Monitor damaged, obsolete or unused materials.
• Maintain records of tools and equipment and their issuance/return.
• Coordinate servicing, repairs and calibration of relevant equipment.
• Maintain records of calibration certificates and expiry dates where applicable.
• Maintain proper filing of PO, DO, MRF, Material Issuance Forms, Stock Cards, Tools & Equipment Register; prepare daily/weekly/monthly stock reports; submit inventory updates to management.
