Job summary

Cleanroom Industries Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia is seeking a Warehouse/Store Officer to manage daily store operations, receiving, inspection, storage, issuing and dispatching materials and finished goods.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or an equivalent relevant field.
• Minimum of two (2) years of working experience in warehouse or store operations, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across departments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, for reporting and data analysis.
• Proactive, adaptable, and capable of identifying issues and implementing effective solutions.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily store operations, including the receiving, inspection, storage, issuing and dispatching of materials and finished goods.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records and conduct regular physical stock counts to ensure stock accuracy and accountability.
• Monitor inventory levels and prepare reports on stock movements, balances and variances for management review.
• Maintain and monitor returnable packaging records, provide supporting data, and ensure the accurate recording and processing of returned packaging.
• Ensure all materials and products are properly identified, labelled, categorised, stored, and documented in accordance with established procedures.
• Coordinate with the relevant Departments to ensure material availability and timely fulfilment of operational requirements.
• Identify, investigate, and report stock discrepancies, damaged goods and other inventory-related issues to the Manager for appropriate action.
• Prepare periodic performance reports and analyses on Store Department activities to support monitoring and continuous improvement.
• Participate in internal and external audits by providing relevant records and supporting documents, and ensure compliance with applicable requirements.
• Implement and maintain 5S practices to ensure a clean, organised, safe and efficient working environment.
• Maintain and review departmental SOPs, work instructions, forms, and other controlled documents, ensuring proper submission to the Quality Management Representative (QMR) for registration and document control.
