Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a diligent Storekeeper to assist engineers and managers with daily, weekly, and monthly stock control activities in Seri Manjung, Perak. You will help receive, record, store engineering spares, equipment, tools, lubricants, and other materials, and ensure accurate stock reporting.

You will maintain stock cards, conduct regular counts, initiate purchase requisitions, verify deliveries, and keep records clean and compliant with company guidelines.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling stock records.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills for coordinating with engineers and managers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer literacy.
• SPM/STPM or equivalent qualification with relevant experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in receiving, recording, and storing items including engineering spares, tools, lubricants, chemicals, diesel, powder and other materials.
• Update stock cards for all receipts and issues accurately and prepare precise stock reports.
• Conduct regular physical stock counts and participate in yearly stock-taking activities as instructed by management.
• Ensure stock items are stored in the correct locations and maintained in good condition.
• Initiate purchase requisitions for spare parts and consumables when stock levels reach minimum or reorder points.
• Assist in unloading and verifying incoming materials against delivery notes while maintaining records.
