Job summary

ASIAN ART-STONE (M) SDN BHD is seeking an organized stock and logistics assistant to coordinate loading/unloading tasks, liaise with drivers, and maintain accurate inventory records. The role involves daily stock control in Autocount and routine reporting to management.

You will ensure incoming goods meet quantities and conditions, perform weekly stock takes, and support purchasing and administrative duties to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Coordinate and assign tasks to general workers for loading and unloading of materials.
• Liaise with lorry drivers on operational issues and report to management when necessary.
• Maintain accurate stock in/out records in the Autocount system.
• Ensure physical inventory matches system records.
• Monitor and report any stock discrepancies or shortages.
• Ensure all incoming goods are in good condition and meet required quantities.
• Conduct weekly stock takes and prepare inventory reports.
• Support purchasing, quotation preparation, and general administrative duties.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate loading and unloading tasks with general workers to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Liaise with lorry drivers about daily scheduling and transport issues, and escalate as needed.
• Keep stock in/out records up to date in Autocount and perform routine reconciliations.
• Conduct weekly stock takes and report discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Assist with purchasing activities and prepare simple quotations when required.
