Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an inventory admin trainee to assist in updating and maintaining stock movement records during inventory transfers or system migrations. The role focuses on maintaining accurate inventory lists, serial numbers, and mapping storage locations, while updating internal systems as required.

The candidate will gain hands-on experience with data entry, Excel usage, and standard inventory controls.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of inventory management or stock control.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic data entry.
• Detail-oriented with strong accuracy in data handling.
• Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in updating and maintaining stock movement records during inventory transfers or system migration.
• Maintain accurate inventory lists, serial numbers, and storage location mapping.
• Update internal systems and databases according to operational requirements.
• Record and verify incoming and outgoing stock during migration or transfer activities.
• Support the team in tracking items that have been moved versus pending transfers.
• Help ensure data accuracy and prevent discrepancies during inventory transition.
• Assist in issue logging and documentation, including missing items, damages, or delays during stock movement.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth inventory migration and proper documentation.
• Perform general administrative support related to inventory tracking and reporting
