Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Administrator to oversee stock levels and warehouse data. You will track shipments, conduct audits, and use an IMS to ensure data accuracy, helping minimize waste and prevent stockouts.

The role requires 1–3 years in inventory control, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management software, and strong analytical and communication skills. A Diploma or degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in inventory control, logistics, or warehouse administration.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Inventory Management Software.
• Strong analytical ability to spot patterns and resolve discrepancies quickly.
• Clear verbal and written communication with vendors and internal departments.
• High level of accuracy in data entry and physical counting.
• High school diploma or GED; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in related fields is a plus.
• Mandarin proficiency required for supplier communications; English and Bahasa Malaysia for internal reporting.

Responsibilities

• Stock monitoring with real-time records of inventory movements using ERP or spreadsheet software.
• Data accuracy: conduct regular cycle counts and physical stock audits to reconcile system data with actual warehouse levels.
• Reporting: generate weekly/monthly inventory reports (turnover, shrinkage, slow-moving items) for management.
• Procurement support: monitor stock thresholds and place purchase orders for replenishment.
• Process improvement: identify discrepancies and suggest improvements to increase operational efficiency.
• Coordination: liaise between procurement, sales, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth product flow.
• Documentation: verify delivery notes, invoices, and shipping manifests for accuracy.
