Job summary

Qualifications

• Proven experience in inventory management or a similar warehouse/logistics role.
• Proficiency with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organisational and record-keeping skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent numerical and analytical abilities.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of stock control principles and inventory best practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Relevant qualification in logistics, supply chain management or related field is desirable.
• Familiarity with the poultry or agricultural industry is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management systems.
• Conduct regular stock counts and reconciliations to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Manage inventory levels to minimise stockouts and overstock situations.
• Process and track purchase orders and receiving of goods.
• Identify and report discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
• Coordinate with procurement and operations teams for timely replenishment.
• Assist in organising storage areas to maximise space utilisation.
• Prepare inventory reports and analysis for management review.
• Support implementation of inventory control procedures and best practices.
• Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to resolve inventory-related issues.
