Job summary

Responsibilities

• Process orders: create and send purchase orders after checking prices, quantities and delivery dates.
• Source suppliers: research vendors, request price quotes, compare offers.
• Track shipments: monitor outstanding orders and follow up with vendors on delivery schedules.
• Manage inventory: monitor stock levels and coordinate with all departments to prevent shortages.
• Review daily, weekly and monthly direct material requirements.
• Ensure proper maintenance of purchasing documentation and records.
• Resolve discrepancies in pricing, damaged goods, or missing items.
• Other duties as assigned from time to time.
