Job summary

JOINTHIRE SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a System Engineer to design ASRS warehouse systems and manage project specifications across intralogistics and automation domains.

The role requires 2–3 years in warehouse automation, proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office, and strong English communication. Travel locally and overseas is expected for meetings, site surveys, and factory acceptance tests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical/electrical/mechatronics/automation/industrial/manufacturing or robotics engineering.
• Minimum 2–3 years experience in ASRS, warehouse automation, material handling, robotics, conveyors, sortation systems, AGV/AMR, system integration or industrial automation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (basic to intermediate) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong understanding of ASRS concepts, material flow analysis and throughput calculation.
• Excellent English communication skills for client discussions and internal coordination.

Responsibilities

• Design and draw system layouts for ASRS warehouse and material handling systems.
• Prepare technical proposals, presentations, costing quotations, and related requirements.
• Conduct site investigations and attend customer meetings to define detailed specifications and approvals.
• Liaise with the Japan team to explain detailed technical specifications.
• Manage hardware equipment ordering and create RFQs for purchased items.
• Support sales approaches and attend project handovers and UAT.
• Create complete sets of technical documentation and negotiate tender/contract terms.
