Job summary

Swisslog in Malaysia is seeking a Solution Design Engineer to lead the system concept and layout for automated material handling projects. You will transform customer requirements into robust design concepts and support tender activities.

Responsibilities include evaluating data, defining design parameters, coordinating with suppliers, and preparing technical descriptions and tender presentations. A hands-on engineer with strong communication skills will thrive in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical / Mechatronics / Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 3 years working experience in industrial system design.
• Strong MS Office and 2D/3D CAD proficiency.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Define the logistic system concept / layout per customer requirements.
• Perform system engineering for offer and detail phases.
• Coordinate with suppliers for RFQ and evaluate quotations.
• Prepare tender descriptions and PowerPoint presentations.
• Support Sales Manager during sales and tender clarification.
