Sementra Nature Resort in Gopeng, Perak is offering an internship in Tourism / Hospitality / Resort with shift work. The role covers reception, guest services, group bookings, and basic restaurant support, located at Kampung Ulu Geroh.

Open to Malaysian citizens, the internship lasts at least three months. English and Bahasa Melayu fluent communication is required, with hostel accommodation provided at the resort. Shift patterns may include weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Internship must last for at least three (3) months.
• Currently studying Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Management or related field.
• Able to speak, write and understand English and Bahasa Melayu fluently.

Responsibilities

• Update staff schedules, manage attendance records, and conduct stock counts.
• Assist with checking guests in and out, verify reservations, process payments, and provide resort information.
• Attend to guest inquiries and concerns; prepare quotations and manage group bookings.
• Handle group itineraries and ensure smooth coordination of activities.
• Guide guests on tours of the resort, highlighting key facilities and services.
• Assist with meal services (breakfast and dinner), arrange dining areas, take orders, and serve food.
• Help clean guest rooms and public areas; replenish linens and ensure rooms are ready for new guests.
• Occasionally restock supplies or arrange linen transport to other locations.

**HOSTEL PROVIDED (walkable 1-2 minutes to the resort) & NO TRANSPORTATION PROVIDED**

Working hour: 6 days, 1 Rest day (weekdays only). 2 @ 3 shifts (depends on arrangement and peak season, start as early as 7am and end as late as 10pm)

Requirements:

Your internship must last for at least three (3) months.
