Job summary

Empire Automation Sdn Bhd in Petaling Jaya invites energetic interns to join our Technical Engineering team. The internship offers hands-on exposure to Security Integrated Systems, including CCTV and Access Control, and real project implementation.

You will work with experienced engineers on installation, testing and troubleshooting, and gain practical documentation experience while developing problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Basic knowledge of networking or electrical/electronic systems is an advantage.
• Interest in CCTV, Access Control and Security Integrated Solutions.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers in installation, configuration and maintenance of CCTV and Access Control Systems.
• Support project implementation, site inspection and technical testing.
• Assist in troubleshooting technical issues and performing system checks.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports and project-related records.
• Assist in cable termination, equipment setup and basic system configuration.
• Participate in site visits and other engineering-related assignments.
• Perform other technical duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job description

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated interns to join our Technical Engineering team. This internship provides an opportunity to gain practical, hands-on experience in Security Integrated Systems, including CCTV, Access Control Systems and other integrated security solutions.

You will work alongside our experienced technical team and gain exposure to real project implementation, installation, testing and troubleshooting activities.

Key Responsibilities

Assist engineers and technical personnel in the installation, configuration and maintenance of CCTV and Access Control Systems.

Support project implementation, site inspection and technical testing.

Assist in troubleshooting technical issues and performing system checks.

Prepare technical documentation, reports and project-related records.

Assist in cable termination, equipment setup and basic system configuration.

Participate in site visits and other engineering-related assignments.

Perform other technical duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or a related field.

Basic knowledge of networking, electrical or electronic systems is an advantage.

Interested in CCTV, Access Control Systems and Security Integrated Solutions.

Willing to learn, proactive and able to work independently as well as in a team.

Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Willing to travel to customer sites when required.
