Job summary

Jora Malaysia is offering an internship for students pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT-related fields. You will gain hands-on experience in IT support, troubleshoot hardware and software, and learn to work with SQL databases and cloud platforms.

No prior work experience required; fresh graduates and students are encouraged to apply. The role includes first-level IT support, system setup, documentation, training, and opportunities to develop technical skills.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems, hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and databases is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Outlook and Teams.
• Knowledge of AWS, Microsoft Azure, cloud computing or server administration is an advantage.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• No prior work experience is required; fresh graduates and students seeking internship opportunities are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level IT and technical support to customers and internal users.
• Assist in troubleshooting hardware, software, network and system-related issues.
• Support users in the installation, configuration and troubleshooting of applications.
• Assist the technical team in providing support for HRMS and payroll systems.
• Assist with system setup, user access, configuration and maintenance.
• Monitor and follow up on reported technical issues and support tickets.
• Assist with software installation, updates and system maintenance.
• Support testing of new system features, enhancements and software updates.
• Assist with UAT, system testing and troubleshooting before system releases.
• Prepare and maintain basic technical documentation and user guides.
• Perform other IT-related tasks assigned by the supervisor.
