Oleon Port Klang Sdn Bhd invites motivated interns to support daily operations and project tasks at Pulau Indah, Port Klang. The role offers hands-on experience in P&ID reading, onsite validation, HAZOP preparation, and safety risk assessment while working with cross-functional teams.
Applicants should be pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering or related fields and be proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

As an internship, you will support the team on the daily operations and other ad hoc task.
P&ID Reading and Interpretation: Gain hand-on experience in reading and understanding Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) by comparing as-built documents with actual site conditions.
Onsite Validation Techniques: Develop practical skills in onsite validation of P&IDs, identifying discrepancies, and understanding physical plant layouts.
HAZOP Preparation and Documentation: Learn to prepare essential documentation for HAZOP (Hazard and Operability) studies, contributing to critical safety evaluations for the Phase 1 plant.
Risk Assessment Methodology: Understand foundational concepts of HAZOP risk assessment, including how to identify and assess potential hazards in a processing plant.
Exposure to Process Safety: Gain insight into key process safety principles, which are critical in the chemical industry, through direct involvement in the HAZOP preparation process.
Collaborative Skills: Work closely with cross-functional teams, improving communication skills and gaining an understanding of different roles within the plant.
