Job summary

DayOne is seeking a motivated university student to support our procurement team in global data infrastructure initiatives. This internship offers hands-on exposure to RFP processes, supplier evaluation, and cost analysis, contributing to DayOne’s growth across Asia and Europe.

You will learn procurement software such as OA and SAP, develop professional communication, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in SCM, QS, engineering, or related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and good organizational abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to learn and work in a team environment.
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and compiling Request for Price (RFP) documents
• Support vendor sourcing, pre-qualification evaluation, and selection processes
• Help review and compare quotations and prepare cost analysis summaries
• Assist with tender tasks including negotiations, clarifications, and PO preparation
• Assist with filing, record keeping, and audit preparation
• Learn and utilize procurement software such as OA and SAP
• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by the procurement team

Job responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and compiling Request for Price (RFP) documents
• Support vendor sourcing, pre-qualification evaluation, and selection processes, including system registration
• Help review and compare quotations and prepare cost analysis summaries
• Assist with tender related tasks, including tender calling, negotiations, clarifications, and PO preparation works
• Assist with document filing, record keeping, and audit preparation tasks
• Learn and utilize procurement software such as OA and SAP systems as part of daily tasks
• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by the procurement team

Job requirements

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and good organizational abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Willingness to learn and work in a team-oriented environment
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
