Job summary

SPCI HELM in Kuantan, Malaysia is seeking a maintenance support staff starting 1 September 2026. The role focuses on organizing maintenance spare parts, updating CMMS records, and supporting routine PM inspections under the guidance of engineers.

Candidate should hold a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent field and have own transport advantage. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent field.

Responsibilities

• Manage and organize maintenance spare parts inventory.
• Perform stock counting, inventory updates, and store housekeeping.
• Assist in receiving, issuing, and labeling spare parts.
• Support routine preventive maintenance (PM) inspections and complete PM checklists.
• Update maintenance records and CMMS data (if applicable).
• Report equipment abnormalities and maintenance findings to engineers.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, PPE requirements, and 5S practices.
• Assist maintenance engineers and technicians during daily maintenance activities and shutdowns.
